This is the smallest and lightest Alienware laptop you can get. For such a slim laptop it performs quite well as a gaming rig, although with its upgraded resolution and its use of low powered components, you'll need to keep your expectations in check.

The Alienware x14 is one of the most portable gaming laptops around, measuring in at only 0.57" at its thinnest point and weighing in at 4.22 pounds. A large part of that is due to the smaller 14" display, but this is also a newer x-series model that is categorically thinner and lighter than its m-series counterparts. This particular laptop features a 14" 2560x1600 QHD+ display, Intel Core i7-13620H CPU, GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD. The 13th gen Intel Core i7-13620H has a Turbo Max Frequency of 4.9GHz with 10 cores, 16 threads, and a 24MB cache. This is a low voltage processor that is capable of your everyday tasks and gaming while sipping power.
The RTX 4050 is roughly similar in performance to the RTX 3060. It's worth nothing, however, that this RTX 4050 GPU has a max TGP of 85W. That's less than what the x16 and m16 laptops offer (115W TGP) so it won't perform quite as well as its bigger siblings. It's still fully capable of running many non-demanding games comfortably. For example, this is a great little rig for games like League of Legends, Starcraft, Fortnite, and Genshin Impact. Running Cyberpunk 2077 or Black Myth Wukong, however, will definitely require graphics settings tweaking, especially if you factor in the 2560x1600 resolution.
