Reebok has revealed a sneaker collection inspired by one of the cartoon greats, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The four new designs are based on individual characters as well as the Four Nations and elements. Each colorway reimagines an existing Reebok sneaker design, including the Instapump Fury and Club C 85.

The shoes will be available to purchase online starting on October 7. The new designs will be shown off at NYCC this weekend, which also happens to be when we'll get the next Avatar series.

First Look at Reebok x Avatar: The Last Airbender Collection

Reebok's new collection is more subdued than we’ve seen from previous shoe collabs. The Appa sneakers definitely lean toward comfort, but I’d argue that makes them particularly stylish. The tan and white tones would go with just about any outfit, and you still get casual nods to the flying bison’s striped fur. You also get tons of cozy fur lining.

The Aang design is by far the boldest of the bunch. By focusing on the color scheme of the Avatar’s original outfit, it honestly gives fire-bending vibes. This colorway is for Reebok’s more dynamic Insta Pump Fury 94 sneaker, and features a full image of Aang in his Avatar state on the inner sole. You also get a pretty clean lace tag.

Even though that pair already shows Aang going beast mode, there’s actually an entirely separate “Avatar State” design. This one swaps the bold orange back for the softened tan, but adds in some soft blue accents. Almost all of the shoe designs feature Aang’s airbending arrow in some form, but this one makes it most obvious.

All of the new collection comes in limited edition ATLA-themed packaging, which, if you’re a fan of collecting random boxes, is honestly pretty cool in and of itself.

ICYMI: The Next Avatar Series Premieres This Week

Seven Havens will be the third series in the Avatar franchise, following the original series and The Legend of Korra. The Reebok collaboration is primarily inspired by the original series, which is currently being adapted into a live-action show over at Netflix. The original Gaang also returned rather recently for a new standalone movie we were pretty big fans of.
