BOOM! Studios' Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics have greatly expanded on the characters and lore of this colorful universe, and now one of the new villains from those comics is being immortalized as a statue by Diamond Select Toys. Enter the Death Ranger.
IGN can exclusively reveal a first look at the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Gallery Death Ranger Deluxe PVC Statue. Check it out in the slideshow gallery below:
The Death Ranger was introduced in 2022's Power Rangers #20. They were once the original Gold Ranger from the Omega Rangers of Safehaven, before becoming obsessed with finding a cure for death and transforming into a twisted echo of their former self. The Death Ranger costume has to be one of the coolest and most visually distinctive Power Ranger designs ever, so we're stoked to see it in 3D form.
The Death Ranger statue measures about 10 inches tall and depicts the villain perched atop a shattered stone as smoke emerges from the cracks. The statue was designed by Joe Allard and sculpted by Salvador Gomes.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Gallery Death Ranger Deluxe PVC Statue is priced at $80 and is slated for release in Spring 2025. Preorders will open on the Diamond Select website and other retailers on Friday, September 20.
