The company has reportedly listed Ryzen 7045HX Series Desktop processors as supported by the latest chipset driver. The 7040HX series is already deployed in high-end laptops featuring up to 16 Zen4 cores (two chiplets). Thus far, AMD made no announcements in regard to bringing such APUs to desktops, and the most recent update still relies on Zen3 architecture (Ryzen 5000G).
