There are two versions, one with an AMD CPU and one with an Intel CPU, and they're both offered at the same price. This is the lowest price ever for an Alienware laptop built to these specs.

The Alienware m15 R7 laptop features a 15" 2560x1440 QHD 240Hz G-SYNC IPS display, your choice of either an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H or Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and 1TB SSD. Both CPUs are pretty comparable to each other, although in pure gaming benchmarks the Intel Core i7 chip has a slight performance lead. Both are excellent processors in terms of workstation and gaming performance and they certainly won't be your bottleneck when it comes to gaming.
The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti provides plenty of muscle on the GPU front, and you'll need it to run games at the display's native 2650x1440 QHD resolution. Among the RTX 30 series mobile cards, it's only slightly less powerful than the RTX 3080. Compared to desktop variants, it's roughly comparable to the RTX 3060. There's a new RTX 4070 mobile GPU out and guess what... it's only negligibly faster than the RTX 3070 Ti. The RTX 3070 Ti is a much better value, especially at this price point.
