Starting today, Amazon is offering the 2022 Samsung "The Frame" series 55" 4K QLED Smart TV for only $996.99. That's a $500 price drop from its original $1500 MSRP and the biggest percentage discount we've seen for a "The Frame" series TV this year.

Samsung's "The Frame" sets itself apart from all other TVs with its seamless aesthetics. It features an Art Mode that showcases your choice of fine art sort of like a screen saver. That includes art purchased from the Samsung Art Store or your own personal collection of NFTs, personal photos, and artwork collection. The built-in motion sensor allows the TV to display art only when someone is nearby.
To go along with the art theme, the TV bezel is thin and looks just like the framing on a painting. Furthermore, the bezel is customizable. You can purchase different colors like teak, beige, or white or different styles like modern and beveled to better match your decor.
No TV stand is included because "The Frame" is supposed to look more like a painting than a TV set. Instead, a slim wall mount is included. The TV itself sits flush to the wall so even when viewed from the side, the TV looks more like an art frame than a TV cabinet.
Of course "The Frame" is also an excellent TV. It uses a quantum dot LED LCD panel with full array LED backlighting with local dimming and wide color gamut. There is an HDMI 2.1 port, and combined with the native 120Hz panel, is capable of displaying 4K @ 120Hz when connected to a PS5 or Xbox Series X gaming console. Needless to say, you won't be skimping on the TV's image quality even if aesthetics are of paramount importance.
