For those of you too busy to read the whole review, we scored it an 8, which is 'great' on our review scale.Basically, it has a gorgeous display, the return of Magsafe power connectors, a lovely keyboard and best of all, tons of power in reserve.
It's not without its drawbacks, of course. When it comes to gaming, you'll almost certainly run into some problems with the new chip architecture. But that will almost certainly diminish as the M1 becomes more and more prevalent. If you're worried about other software tripping you up, Apple has support for a lot of the Intel-based applications without native M1 support.
