The Pokemon Company has announced that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, a brand new mainline Pokemon adventure, will be released in late 2022.
Announced During Pokemon Day 2022's Pokemon Presents, these two new Game Freak-developed games will feature a new region and its three starters have already been revealed. While we don't have names for them yet, they appear to still fall into the typical grass, fire, and water types. However, they are also an adorable cat, dragon/lizard, and bird so we can't complain too much
