IGN can exclusively debut the trailer and poster for Offseason, a new horror-thriller from Psychopaths writer-director Mickey Keating. The trailer can be viewed via the player above or the embed below.
Offseason follows Marie (Doctor Sleep’s Jocelin Donahue), who returns to the isolated offshore island where her mother is buried after receiving word that her gravesite was vandalized.
She ends up stranded there until the following spring after the island closes for the offseason and all the bridges are raised.
Marie soon experiences increasingly strange encounters with the locals. If she's to make it out of there alive, she will need to unlock the secrets of her late mother's troubled past.
The cast also includes mumblecore filmmaker and actor Joe Swanberg (Drinking Buddies, The Sacrament), Richard Brake (Batman Begins), Melora Walters (Pen15), and Jeremy Gardner (After Midnight).
RLJE Films and Shudder will release Offseason in theaters and on VOD and Digital on March 11, 2022.
